eMalahleni’s top entertainment destination, Tsogo Sun’s The Ridge Casino, in collaboration with Live Life Love Water celebrated World Water Day by donating clean, purified water to the community of Siyanqoba RDP New Development.
This donation was handed over on Friday, March 22.
When The Ridge heard that the Siyanqoba community had been exposed to contaminated water, it joined forces with bottled water supplier, Live Life Love Water, to donate 750 five-litre and 10-litre bottles of water to afflicted community members.
The Ridge marketing manager, Ms Marina Coetzee says the team at The Ridge decided World Water Day was the perfect opportunity to show they cared and to deliver the much-needed water to members of the Siyanqoba community.
“After all, everyone deserves access to safe drinking water – it’s a basic human right and we couldn’t just sit by and watch the community suffer.”
