The complainant stated to police that he was on duty at the locomotive side gate and the security gate opened.

He allegedly asked the men why they are there, when suddenly he stared down the barrel of a gun.

The complainant immediately realised what was happening and he explained to police that there were approximately 14 suspects.

The suspects tied the complainant’s hands and legs with shoe laces and stole approximately 35 000 litres of diesel from the tank.

The case is still under investigation at the Witbank Police Station.
