Mr Simon Maswinyaneng encouraging learners and parents

He told the parents to shift their mindset

Circuit Manager Mr Choshane Simon Maswinyaneng told learners to focus on their studies and also to pray in order to achieve their best.

Mr Maswinyaneng was addressing during mass at St Joseph Mukasa Roman Catholic Church on Sunday, February 3.

He also encouraged the parents to support their children and to enrol them in the township schools as they’re achieving good results.

He told the parents to shift their mindset and told them that many students graduated from the township schools and they were doing well at tertiary level across the country.

He gave an example of Ashley Ratau, a learner at Zacheus Malaza Secondary who obtained six distinctions last year.

“Even our primary schools in our townships are doing well. Nelson Ngubeni is one of the best performing primary schools in the circuit. Even some white parents are sending their children to the township school camps.”

Mr Maswinyaneng also told the learners to take resolutions and change things for the best results.

He said nothing beats sacrifices and self discipline.

“Have a drive and propel yourself to higher heights. Bursaries are available for hard workers and it is all in your hands and God will protect and guide you,” added Mr Maswinyaneng.
