Members of Good Foundation Committee of Friends SA took a step in the direction when they donated to the needy in the community.
The members donated to Ethembeni Heaven under the leadership of Bishop Jeremiah Zulu on Wednesday, February 6.
They donated groceries and an amount of R2 000 in cash.
They said they were doing this to show love and to spend time with the children and to encourage them and support them.
Mr Obeji Chukwuma president of the organisation said that the children were now part of their families and they would shower them with gifts and food whenever they find time.
“With these gifts we want to show love, care and support. We want to support you in your journey and share knowledge and wisdom. We want to pray with you and for you because God conquers all. We are not looking for rewards but we know that God will reward you richly in your young lives. We promise that we will come back to support you,” said Mr Chukwuma.
Ms Bongeka Mofokeng the centre matron thanked the members and said she hopes that God will bless them and reward them for the donation and gifts.
The members joined in prayer with the children.
