WARNING: Protest action from Lynnville expected this morning

Please be on the look out for protest action from Lynnville Stadium.

Costatu will embark on a National Strike on Wednesday, February 13 against job losses.

The protesters will start to gather at Lynnville Stadium at 09:00 and will start marching at 11:00.

Please use alternative routes.

There were also protests this morning on the N12 highway, near the Merriedale bridge, protesters blocking the roads with a truck, bakkie and logs.

Then by Tasbet Park Spar crossing, the SAPS were on scene, the roads are open for traffic just be vigilant.

Further down the road by Elpaso crossing, a truck was forced to dump a load of coal in the right hand lane. Police are on scene, just be vigilant.
