Eskom partners with Kgwadisa Security Services for donations

Duvha has showed love, care and support

Eskom Duvha Power Station management team led by Eskom Duvha Power Station manager Mr Mandla Mthembu, Ms Yvette Shibambo, Lungisani Xaba together with Ms Sharon Mankge of Kwadisa Security embarked on donations of school shoes and sanitary towels to two schools and toys and groceries to a centre.

They donated school shoes and sanitary towels to Khayalethu Primary School and Mgibe Primary School and toys and groceries to Madressa Orphanage Centre in Pine Ridge.

They said they were doing this to show their love to the children and wishing them all the best for the future.

Mr Mthembu thanked the school principals and the teachers for the role they play in shaping the lives of children.

He told the children that it start at an early age to dream about their future.

“I want to see future engineers to take over from us. Make it a point that you came and visit us at the station. The donations are one way to show our appreciation and contributing towards our communities. We are aiming to develop future leaders. We want a better future for all of you and we want to look back and have successful stories to tell,” said Mr Mthembu.

Ms Mankge said that she always see future leaders in children and encouraged the children to focus on their studies and to respect their teachers and parents.

“Please do not involve yourself in crime, violence and drugs. Have role models from your family members or from your community members or even your teachers. A lot is expected from you and have dreams and focus on your dreams,” Ms Mankge said.

Ms Sonto Nyembezi, centre manager of Madressa Orphanage Centre explained that they were now a family with Eskom Duvha Power Station because it was not the first time that they have donated items to them.

She said Duvha has showed love, care and support and they have been travelling the journey with them.

“Duvha has been in the passed donated Jojo tanks, micro oven, a washing machine and a lot of other items. As a centre we have been through a lot of challenges and problems but because we have a shoulder in you we have been strong. We salute other stakeholders including Witbank News for the role they have played in the past. We believe in prayers and fasting and we believe God will bless you and thank you so much,” concluded Ms Nyembezi.

Both the schools also thanked Duvha for the donations.
