R1 000 not enough

It is believed that the suspects returned to the main bedroom and started to demand cash

A mother, her two kids and domestic worker were the victims of yet another house robbery.

The morning of January 25 a mother was busy changing her baby in her bedroom when she suddenly heard voices in the sitting room.

As she came into the sitting room two armed suspects were busy talking to her domestic worker.

They suddenly pointed their firearms towards her, demanding money.

It’s alleged that they then demanded the domestic worker and owner to go sit in the main bedroom as they started taking the television and valuable items throughout the house.

It is believed that the suspects returned to the main bedroom and started to demand cash.

The owner told them that she only had R1 000 in her purse but they allegedly started to yell “we do not want this cash we want a lot of cash”.

The robbers took all their keys, cell phones and bankcards before fleeing the scene.

No one got arrested but the Witbank Police are investigating the case.
