A shooting incident occurred in Voortrekker Street last night.
The incident happened on Monday, January 28 at approximately 21:30.
JD Med and Langamed emergency services were on scene to treat the injured security guard.
One of the guards were declared dead on scene.
Members from SACCW and CPF, along with members from Witbank Police Station were on scene.
The investigation into the shooting took place.
The injured security guard was transported to Life Cosmos Hospital before he was transferred to Milpark Hospital.
