Vosman police are investigating a house robbery case and four counts of rape at the same house in Vosman.
The police reported that on Friday, January 18 at about 20:00, a lady told them that she was with her three friends from one of the taverns.
On their way home, while walking, they were approached by three suspects who greeted them and they even proposed love to them.
They all went to the friend’s house in Vosman.
While the others got into the yard, they left the suspects at the gate with the other friends.
While their friend was busy trying to open the door, the complainant’s brother opened the door for them.
After that they took out firearms and ordered them to lay down on the floor.
One suspect raped one victim but the 22-year-old friend was raped by all of them.
After that one shot was fired on the roof and they then took with them three pairs of Carvela shoes and three cell phones.
The value of all the items taken is R3 000.
They threatened them not to follow them and if they do, they will kill them.
“This case is under investigation and no one has been arrested. If there’s any information that can lead to the arrests of the suspects, the community can report to the police anonymously. If there are people walking in the streets and they are three or four and they look suspicious and are unknown to the community, they must be reported to the police. Any information can be reported to the police and may assists in preventing crime happening in our communities,” said Constable Kgomotso Maluleke, Vosman Police Station Communication Officer.
