A resident from eMalahleni passed away after two trucks collided.
On Thursday, 13 December two trucks collided on the R547, Mpunzi Road near an intersection in Ga-Nala.
According to an eye witness one of the trucks, the one that the survivor was driving, was turning when the Nissan truck came from the opposite direction and smashed into the turning truck.
“The driver of the Nissan truck collided with the truck turning in the road,” the eyewitness explained.

Members from emergency services attended to the scene and one of the drivers was stabilized and taken to hospital.
The driver of the Nissan truck was declared dead on scene.
The deceased is 60-year old Mr Lucas Skosana, also known as “Kort Lucas” by his work colleagues at Rock-Tuff Ready Mix.
The scene where the accident took place on Thursday, 13 December.
Lukas was one of the truck drivers at the company.
“Rest in peace ‘Kort Lucas’ you will be missed but never forgotten,” one of his work colleagues said.
