Horror accident on N12 claims a life
A 59-year old woman passed away after she was involved in a horror accident that occurred on the N12 near the Kendal/Balmoral off-ramp.
A 59-year old woman passed away after she was involved in a horror accident that occurred on the N12 near the Kendal/Balmoral off-ramp.
On Sunday, December 2 at about 16:45 a green Volkswagen Playa was involved in an accident with a Volvo truck.
It is alleged that the Volkswagen was traveling from eMalahleni in the direction of Johannesburg.
Allegedly the right rear tyre burst and the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Volkswagen swerved straight into oncoming traffic and ended up in front of the Volvo truck.

There were five occupants inside the Volkswagen and one life was lost.
The other occupants had minor injuries.
The scene where the accident took place.
Ambulance services attended to the scene and the injured passengers were taken to hospital.
The truck driver didn’t sustained any injuries.
