A vehicle caught fire in Jellicoe Street near the Puma Stadium.
On Friday, October 26, a call came through on the SACCW (South African Community Crime Watch) open channel on Zello saying that there is a vehicle burning.
Emalahleni fire department was dispatched along with the SACCW EMS/FD volunteer’s first responder, Johan Bekker.

Upon their arrival on the scene they noticed that it was a Toyota Hilux that caught fire.

Bekker attended the scene with the SACCW fire trailer. The fire was quickly extinguished and the scene was under control.
Emergency services also attended the scene to help if there were any injuries. Luckily there were no serious injuries.
