Another resident was a victim of an armed robbery this past weekend in eMalahleni.
It is alleged that the victim was travelling on foot in the Central Business District (CBD) on August 16, on his way from work.
As he was walking a white Volkswagen Polo started chasing the poor victim from behind and he started running.

In a rush trying to run away from the vehicle the occupants inside started firing shots.
As he feared for his life he immediately stopped in his steps and it is believed that four armed suspects climbed out of the Polo and cornered him.
The robbers demanded all his belongings which were a laptop, cell phone and wallet with an unknown amount of cash in it.
Unfortunately no arrests were made but the SAPS is investigating the case.
