The excitement of spring is becoming real and the police is requesting citizens to abide by the law.
On Saturday, September 1 eMalahleni will celebrate a new season, but unfortunatly came with a lot of heartache last year.
Capt Eddie Hall, media spokesperson of the Witbank SAPS said that citizens must abide by the police and municipal laws.
“Anyone spotted drinking in public will be arrested. Everyone celebrating at Witbank Dam and Klipfontein Dam must do it in the perks of the law. They must behave themselves and keep in mind that Klipfontein Dam is classified as a park. This follows after the fence was erected not long ago,” Hall said.
