When the contractor finished building the house, the mother of three children was left with a house without window panes, inside and outside doors were left without paint and the house walls are peeling off as well.

“I have been to the municipality several times, Cllr Timothy Lukhele is aware of the problem and the CLO was also contacted after being referred to him. I was at one stage told that I must go to the municipality offices at KwaGuqa but I was not helped. I have been left helpless and I now have no where to go. At one stage I was told that the regional offices of the department of human settlement will fix the problem, but it has been six years now and no help is forth coming,” explained Ms Nkabinde.

Once the new contractor finishes with its job at Siyanqoba, they will be in a position to do justice to those people whose houses were not completed.”
