The operation which was led by Vosman Police Station commander Brigadier Delisiwe Motha raided the house in Clewer. Police from Vosman Police Station, Witbank Police Station, Delmas Police Station, Phola Police Station, cluster Witbank, communication officer from Vosman Police Station Constable Khomotso Maluleke and Witbank Police Station communication officer Sergeant David Ratau, CPF members pounced in the house like eagles going for a catch.

They arrested a 25 year-old suspect when they found more than ten thousand litres of suspected stolen diesel. The operation was conducted on Tuesday, June 26.

The smell of diesel was all over the place as police searched the house. They found the diesel, empty containers, empty drums, pumps and other items used to store and put diesel. It looks like diesel has been sold in the house for a long time.

Police, after receiving the information, raided the house which was found with the gates locked. It is believed that the diesel was stolen from the nearby mines and other sources.
