“Mr Jacobus Els you are looking at four charges against you,” said State Prosecutor Francois Brandt in court.
WITBANK NEWS reported earlier this year about Mthunzi Sibuyi that got beaten up at a local restaurant and ended up in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The court case was postponed to June 6 for Regional Court.

On that day, Jacobus Els had his first appearance where he is facing charges such as attempted murder and assault with the intention to do grievous bodily harm.
As the case was addressed to Brandt, he asked the Magistrate for a longer postponement as there is outstanding video footage of the incident.
The case was postponed until July 19 to gather all relevant paperwork and video footage for the State.
