The 13-year old boy that was abducted in front of his parents’ house in Tasbet Park on May 20, was found unharmed.
On May 24, it is alleged that the kidnappers dropped off Katlego Marite at Kromdraai. A passerby saw him in Vosman Phase 4 and asked him ‘why he was was outside’ and that he ‘should be in school and not wondering around outside.’

Katlego then walked to extension 10 to a school where two public members recognized him from the WITBANK NEWS front page.
A teacher, Mr Mnisi was phoned by the police after his contact details were given to a police officer by the WITBANK NEWS reporter where after the police phoned Mnisi and instructed them to come to the police station.
