A Toyota Hilux, registration JFZ 574 MP, was hijacked on Saturday, May 5 at 23:00. The victim was with his two sisters and when they reached their destination in KwaGuqa, one of the sisters alighted and while still in the vehicle with the other sister, two suspects opened his door and pointed him with a firearm.

They instructed him to seat at the back of the vehicle and started questioning him if the vehicle have a tracker and demanded his bank cards, cellphone and wanted to know where he was working.

Police urged community members not to park cars on the streets during the night as that might lead to hijacking.

Police are investigating a case of hijacking and no one has been arrested.
