The cars that were stolen took place between Sunday, April 8 and Friday, April 13; one car was stolen every day!

The first theft of a motor vehicle took place on Friday, April 13 between 09:00 and 10:00 at the Witbank Civic Theatre in Smuts Street.
Mr M. Maluleka alleged that he parked his white Toyota Tazz on the side of the road at the dedicated parking lot.

“I clearly remember that all the windows were closed thoroughly and the doors were locked,” said Maluleka.

When he returned to his vehicle in Smuts Street it was not where he left it.
The previous day on Thursday, April 12 between 18:45 and 21:00 the owner of a Toyota Corolla alleged that he parked his vehicle in GNF ministries parking area.

He went inside the church to worship. When he was finished inside the church he returned to his vehicle to find it no longer where he left it.

On Wednesday, April 11 a Suzuki was stolen from Duvha Park. The owner of the vehicle alleged that he left it between 23:00 and 01:30 in the yard.

When he was about to leave, he found that it had been stolen.

At a well known Power Station in eMalahleni area, a truck was stolen on Tuesday, April 10.
The driver of the truck alleged that he parked the truck in the parking bay between 14:00 and 23:06.

A new driver Mr Jappie Matlou had to take over, when he went looking for the truck in the parking bay it was not there.
Matlou then phoned the previous person who drove the truck and asked where he left the truck; he said he parked the vehicle in the parking bay by the power station.

The case was reported to the police station, after a couple of hours the truck was later recovered in Komatipoort.
On Monday, April 9 at 22:00 Mr S. Timane alleged that he parked his vehicle inside his yard in Klarinet.

The silver Ford Ranger was parked outside, all the windows were closed and the doors were locked.
He went to sleep and the next morning when he wanted to climb into his vehicle to go to work, he noticed that the Ranger was not where he left it.

In Rolina Street in Del Judor on Sunday, April 8 at approximately 00:15 a motor bike was stolen.
