On Friday, March 16 an unfortunate driver of a Golf 7 was the victim of a car hijacking when his vehicle was stolen down town.

He was on his way to Ga- Nala when he was attacked by three unknown African males, two of them allegedly armed when they opened the door of his vehicle.

They instructed him to sit in the backseat of his vehicle and drove to Bronkhorstspruit.

One of the men was allegedly called ‘Small’ and the tracker of his vehicle was removed.

The owner of the Golf also told police that the men spoke Zulu, but he did not see the faces of the suspects.

During this trip, the victim’s hands were tied with cable ties and left at Ekandustria, in bushes were a security guard found him.

No further information was available by time of going to print.

The registration number of the vehicle is HYK 773 MP.

Another vehicle was stolen on Thursday, March 15 around 06:40.

The unfortunate victim told her story of where she dropped her child off at a school in Lukin Street.

She mentioned to police that she was busy taking her child out of the Chevrolet Utility when a couple allegedly pushed her aside.

At this stage, the keys were still in the ignition and the couple drove away with the car.

Inside the car were the victim’s handbag, wallet, tablet and cell phone.

She mentioned to police that she can identify the couple who stole her vehicle.

It has registration number: FPD 396 MP.
