One of the suspects that are connected with the body that was found in a cornfield appeared in court.
WITBANK NEWS reported on March 13 that a body was found in a cornfield on the R555 between Clewer and Ogies.
It is believed that the body is linked to the missing person from Clewer.
“We arrested two suspects but only one remained in custody as only this suspect could be linked to the murder,” said spokesperson for Vosman Police Station, Cst Kgomotso Maluleke.

The other suspect that is a well known traditional healer in the Clewer area was let free.
The suspect briefly appeared in court on Tuesday, March 20 but the case was postponed until March 27 for further investigation.
“We as police are asking the public to assist us with any information that will help us find more suspects regarding this case,” said Cst Maluleke.
