The campaign was initiated by parliament and SAPS management and encourages needy children to go to school.
At this time of the year where needy children lack courage to go back to school due to lack of basic needs like school uniform, sanitary towels and even food. These children if not supported might end up being criminals, sex slaves and being victims of human trafficking.
Vosman SAPS has identified 100 children as the needy of the needy.
The event was held at Isibindi centre, ext 10 on March 10 to donate 50 school shoes to 50 children and 50 bags with stationary to 50 children.
The following stake holders where part of the event: CPF members, EYASA, SANCA, Correctional services, Department of justice, Emanuel victim support centre and the two Isibindi centres.
