A shocking phone call was received by the Witbank SAPS on February 28 at about 16:20.
The police were informed about a shooting incident that took place at Klarinet; it was alleged that a man had been shot.
The police rushed to the scene where they found paramedics trying to save the victims life.

The paramedics hurried him to the Witbank General Hospital for further assistance. It is alleged that the victim was shot in the back by an unknown African male that tried to hijack his vehicle.
No further information was obtained since the victim had to be treated because he was in a lot of pain.
No arrests have been made yet but police are still investigating the case.
