A decomposed body of an unknown person was found at Bhodli Section in Phola.
A decomposed body found on Wednesday, January 24 at Phola after a community member complained about a bad smell coming from this old water tank.
The body was found inside an old water tank on Wednesday, January 24 at about 22:30.
This comes after a community member, Mr Sibusiso Nkosi called Phola SAPS and complained about a very bad smell coming out of the old water tank, and requested police to come out to the area and investigate the matter.
Phola SAPS found a decomposed body inside this old water tank on Wednesday, January 24.
Upon arrival, Cst Sandile Msibi and Cst Makgomo Maroga saw the body deep down in the tank. The person was wearing maroon trousers.
Through team work, the body was safely taken out from the tank the next day around 13:00.
