Vosman police together with other stakeholders were all out on a crime prevention campaign.

The police were led by station commander Brigadier Delisiwe Motha. Community based crime prevention was taken to the streets by the police together with members of the Community Policing Forum (CPF) and community members helped in identifying crime hot spots and were able to arrest a number of suspects.

They managed to arrest 77 suspects during the operations for a variety of crimes including possession of drugs, possession of dagga, housebreaking and theft, armed robbery, murder, possession of stolen goods, assault GBH, possession of suspected stolen stock, attempted murder, drinking in public and contravention of a protection order.
