Vosman all out on crime prevention

Vosman police together with other stakeholders were all out on a crime prevention campaign.

The police were led by station commander Brigadier Delisiwe Motha. Community based crime prevention was taken to the streets by the police together with members of the Community Policing Forum (CPF), Neighbourhood Watch, security companies and members of the community who helped in identifying hot spots.

They managed to arrest 93 suspects for a variety of crimes including possession of drugs, possession of dagga, possession of stolen property, selling liquor without a licence, drinking in public, driving under the influence of alcohol, housebreaking, rape, domestic violence and murder.
