Vosman police, in a joint operation conducted by security companies and CPF members were able to reduce crime in their policing area.
Most of the crime committed involved liquor or drugs, as nine suspects were arrested for drinking liquor in public while 16 others were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The police did not spare the nine suspects arrested for possession of drugs while 11 were arrested for possession of dagga and one suspect was arrested for possession of dagga and other drugs at the same time.
While the police, CPF and security companies were all out on the streets they managed to arrest another suspect for armed robbery and another for domestic violence and assault. One suspect was arrested for fraud while two others were arrested for common robbery. A total of 60 arrests were made.
