Three women’s dignity and self worth was taken away from them after they denied their boyfriends physical contact, the men then forced themselves on the women and raped them.
On Saturday, September 23 at 15:00 a 28-year-old woman was raped and the alleged rapist a 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with her rape.
The rape took place in Old Coronation. It is alleged that the 28-year-old woman was walking from the Central Business District (CBD) towards Old Coronation.
While walking she was called by a guy who she knew from Bushbuckridge who said that he wanted to give her something and it would not take too along.
She then alleged that she walked with the guy and he called her into the shack where he was staying, she followed him.
He then allegedly told her that he wanted to have sexual intercourse with her, but she refused.
That is when things started getting violent and he slapped her, pushing her onto the bed.
He then raped her as she refused to have sexual intercourse with him; she managed to run away after he raped her.
The 29-year-old was arrested for the rape after a case was at Witbank police station.
In a separate case, earlier in the week on Monday, September 18 at 03:00 a woman alleged that she was with her boyfriend and her niece, they were all drinking together.
It’s alleged that her boyfriend went to sleep and she followed him. When she woke up the next morning, she found him lying on top of her.
Not knowing what had happened that evening, a rape test was done on the woman as she felt like something was not right,
Once it was confirmed that she had been raped, a case was opened at Witbank police station.
A day earlier on Sunday, September 17 at 20:30 a woman and her boyfriend got into a fight about a bank card.
The woman alleged that she went to bed because she did not want to continue to fight.
That is when her boyfriend followed her to the bedroom as he wanted to have sexual intercourse with her.
She refused and turned on her side; that is when he turned her around onto her back.
He forced her legs open and raped her. Later that evening he raped her again.
The following day he went to work, locking her inside the house, when he returned home he damaged her phone.
He then allegedly started beating her up by punching her; she could not defend herself from him. The neighbours heard the screams for help and that is when they went to see what was happening.
They managed to get the woman out of the house; she was badly beaten up, and her boyfriend was arrested.
