Vosman police are investigating two cases of murder which happened in their policing area.
The police indicated that on Saturday, September 16 at about 20:15 at Emsagweni in the Vosman area a victim, namely Bernet Makola aged 32 was assaulted by community members.
The information retrieved at the crime scene suggests that the victim was found in a certain house where he was caught stealing. The house owner screamed to community members for assistince.
The suspect was cornered and was beaten. The police arrived at the scene and found 21 rounds of 9mm ammunition. An Ambulance was summoned but upon arrival the suspect was decleared dead. No arrest was made and a case of murder is being investigated by the police.
The second incident happened at Schoongezicht area at the Old Pretoria Road at a dumping site again on Saturday, September 16 at about 08:00. A man aged about 50 years was found dead with bullet wounds to the chest and two wounds to the stomach.
A thorough check of the scene revealed the ID document of the victim which stated that it was Mr Ndlovu. The police did check the victim’s address but no positive results came out of that.
