Vosman police believe that drug and alcohol abuse generates more crime.
The police reported that on Saturday, September 23 at about 06:00 at Steve Biko Street in Vosman, they received a report from a 17 year old girl that she had found herself in bed with her boyfriend’s friend.
The victim suspected that she was drugged while they were having drinks.
The victim further reported that she was assaulted as she had visible injuries on her face and body.
The victim was taken to hospital for a medical check up.
No arrest has been made. The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is investigating the case further.
