A woman allegedly jumped off a moving vehicle after the driver refused to stop.

The incident involved a woman aged 45.

On Monday, August 28 the woman knocked off from work and went to catch a taxi to Klipfontein taxi rank.

Luckily for her, the taxi was going in the same direction as she was so she got in.

The vehicle drove off and when the taxi reached Klipfontein the taxi did not stop. She decided to jump out of the moving vehicle. The woman fell down and four of her teeth allegedly came out.

The woman opened a reckless and negligent driving case against the driver of the taxi.

Another reckless and negligent driving case was opened against two drivers who were involved in an accident.

The collision happened at OR Tambo Road and Hans Strydom Avenue on Saturday evening, September 2.

It is alleged that when police interviewed the two drivers they seemed to be under the influence of alcohol.

Both drivers did not sustain any injuries but were taken to hospital to have blood samples taken.
