A driver of a motor vehicle was arrested after being involved in an accident.
On Friday, August 25 at about 18:30 Kriel Police attended to an accident at Kriel provincial road where three motor vehicles were involved in a collision.

The cars involved were a BMW, Polo and a Toyota Cressida.
According to the driver of the Cressida he stated that he was driving towards Thubelihle’s direction. When he got to the intersection leading to the church he indicated to turn right. That is when the BMW bumped him at the back, pushed him into oncoming traffic and the Cressida collided with the Polo.
The BMW allegedly bumped into the back of a Toyota Cressida at Kriel provincial road on Friday, August 25.
The driver of the BMW was charged with drunk driving. The man appeared at the Kriel Magistrate Court on Monday, August 28 and the case was remanded for six months as court awaits blood results. Drivers and their passengers sustained no injuries.
