Does anyone recognise this man?

This man has been spotted in Ga-Nala standing next to the road hitchhiking to Bethal earlier this week.

According to one of the drivers that noticed the man, “the old man sleeps under the tree.”

Constable M. Mahlakoane, communication spokesperson from Kriel Police Station who is Zulu speaking, went to interview the elderly man.

The reason Mahlakoane went to speak to him was to assist where he could but the man refused to speak beyond saying that he came from Johannesburg.

This man was spotted in Ga-Nala on Monday, August 21.

It is alleged that he told another driver that he came from Kwaqwa and he had been dropped off in Kinross and that his mother is in Maskhosana and his name is Joel.

According to Mahlakoane it looks like he is mentally challenged and when a person speaks to him he does not make eye contact.
