No arrests have been made after the murder of Glenda and Willy Allison.

Police are working around the clock trying to solve the double murder that happened on Sunday, August 13.

Emotions overcame Ms Robyn Schmidt during the peaceful march in memory of her sister Glenda and brother-in-law Willy Allison on Sunday, August 20.

The couple were shot dead in their house in Browning Street shortly after 19:00 during an armed robbery.

Willy was in the study when the robbers cut a razor fence in the front of the yard and broke a glass door to gain entry to the house. He was killed in the study.

It seems that Glenda was trying to flee. She managed to unlock the front door, but before she could run she was fatally shot.

Her spectacles lay next to the pool of blood where she died.

The community is outraged by the murder on Glenda and Willy Allison on August 13.

Ms Linah Maloka, who worked for Glenda for 20 years, told police that Glenda found strange dog food in the front yard the day before the murder.

“Glenda threw it away. I wanted to tell Glenda that I think Tsotsi’s might have tried to poison the dog and might come back to break in. We got so busy I forgot all about it,” Makola said

Police sent the dog food to Pretoria for forensic investigation.

On Sunday, August 20 close to 300 people gathered at the Allison’s house and laid flowers in memory of the couple. Motorcycle clubs took a minute of silence before they put Willy’s helmet amongst the flowers.

Willy was a motorbike enthusiast.

Bowlers from the local bowling club where Glenda and Willy also played struggled to come to terms with the untimely death of their teammates.
