Police in Vosman are investigating a case of hijacking after a red VW Polo GTI was hijacked in the area.

Mr Luvuyo Matilwane (31) reported to the police that he was with his brother and niece on Sunday, August 13 at about 22:45 in Extenson 14.

Mr Matilwane added that they were on their way to drop his niece. Upon arrival at Kwena Street the niece alighted, Matilwane and his brother waited inside the vehicle with the engine off.

They were accosted by four unknown suspects. The suspects pointed firearms at them and forced them out of the vehicle. All suspects boarded the vehicle and sped off.

The value of the vehicle is R200 000.

The four suspects are still at large and police are investigating a case of hijacking.
