Condolences are still streaming in after the murder of Glenda and Willy Allison.

The couple was fatally shot on Sunday, August 13 during an armed robbery.
Neighbours said they heard five shots just after 19:00.

Willy was found in the study with three bullet wounds. It seems that Glenda grabbed the front door keys and tried to escape when she was shot in the back at the front door.

Police spokesperson, Capt Eddie Hall said the robbers cut a razor fence in the front of the yard and broke a glass door to gain entry to the house.

The robbers left a television set and pool cue outside the yard in their haste to get away. Only two cell phones and a laptop are missing.

The couple funeral service took place on Thursday, August 17.

A peaceful march in memory of Glenda and Willy is planned for Sunday, August 20.

Residents are asked to get together at Pick n Pay in OR Tambo Street at 12:00. The community will walk to the Allison’s house in Browning Street.
