On Sunday July 30 a taxi driver lost control of his vehicle rolling it along the N12 highway en route to eMalahleni, this was at about 17:20.

The driver and occupants sustained minor injuries and were tended to by paramedics from Langamed Emergency Management Services and JD Med.

At about 17:00 another accident took place this time at the corner of Northey and Botha streets in the Central Business District.


A taxi rolled on the N12 Highway near the s-bend en route to eMalahleni on Sunday evening.

Police arrived on scene to find that two vehicles, a white Volkswagen Polo and white Toyota Quantum, had collided. Both drivers of the vehicles were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries.

An accident occurred on July 29 at about 05:00 in Watermeyer Street when a driver lost control of his vehicle after allegedly colliding with a street light.

Paramedics from Langamed Emergency Management Services arrived on scene and treated the driver who was then transported to Witbank Hospital for further treatment.

Police noted when they arrived on scene that the vehicle was found facing oncoming traffic.
