The position of Municipal Manger will be vacant soon.
Municipal Manager, Mr Theo van Vuuren’s position will be vacant on August 31.
The council took a resolution on May 25 to fill the vacancy. The position was advertised, and the closing date was set for June 19.
The council received several applications and is currently busy with the process of short listing and screening candidates.
There is no indication that Van Vuuren has also applied for the position.
