Witbank News scoops up awards at the FCJ

The annual FCJ Excellence Awards was presented for the second year in a row at a gala evening at the Leriba Hotel in Pretoria.

Chrisuné Vermeulen received a thrid place in the news photographic category. She receives his award from Ishmet Dividson, Media 24 General Manager: Print Media.

A hundred invited guests and finalists attended the awards on Friday, June 23 where the top achievers in local and community newspapers in South Africa were honoured.

The best sport photograph was teken by Trevor Aingworth. He receives his award from Ishmet Dividson, Media 24 General Manager: Print Media.

Winner of the best news phogtograph, Samantha Traill receives her award from Ishmet Dividson, Media 24 General Manager: Print Media.

Team WITBANK NEWS scooped the Photographer of the Year Award as well as the top three places in the news photography category and the best sport photographer.

Zita Goldswain won photographer of the year. She receives her award from Jaco Koekemoer, Caxton CEO.
