A case of reckless or negligent driving was opened at Witbank Police Station after constables responded to an accident on the Verena Road, where six people were injured in the crash.
The accident occurred on Thursday night, June 15 when constables on duty received a call about an accident.

When emergency services arrived on scene there were six patients in the white Audi.
There was one priority-one patient who had spinal and head injuries and one priority-two patient who sustained scalp lacerations. These two patients were transported to eMalahleni Private Hospital.
The other four patients were transported to Witbank General Hospital for further treatment.
