While driving along the N4 Highway in the direction of the mall, a motorist was hit by a car changing lanes.
On April 17 Mr Enoch Nhamunda was travelling in his red Audi A3 heading towards Highveld Mall when the accident happened.
According to Nhamunda, he had been overtaken by a green Chevrolet bakkie which then immediately tried to change lane in order to get onto the off-ramp.
“The Chev was in the fast lane trying to turn onto the off-ramp near the police station, that was when he collided with my car,” said Nhamunda.

Both drivers were reported to have sustained only minor injuries in the accident.
“The driver of the Chev said he would get back to me about the damages and the repairs to my car but hasn’t since the incident, it’s like he ran off,” said Nhamunda.
Police have since opened a case of reckless and or negligent driving regarding the accident which took place at the off-ramp.
