It was reported by the Vosman police that they are investigating a case of double murder.
According to the police, Precious Khensani Manzini (19) and her nine month old baby daughter Mbali Manzini were allegedly poisoned.
The police went to the crime scene at Empumelweni on Good Friday, April 14 at about 12:00 after they had received a call.
The police stated that a police officer went to Emphumelelweni Clinic and found the bodies of both victims laying on the bed with a white foam coming out of their mouths and they had been assaulted with unknown objects.
It is suspected that they were poisoned and an inquest was opened.
The postmortem was conducted and it was found that the victims were poisoned.
A 26-year-old suspect has been arrested.
