Vehicle disappears from parking lot

She looked all over in the parking lot but the Jetta was no where to be seen

A woman parked her vehicle in the parking area in the morning and when she returned in the afternoon the vehicle was gone.

On Friday, April 7 Ms Leranda de Koker stated that her mother parked her white Volkswagen Jetta in the parking lot on the corner of OR Tambo and Mandela Street and went to work.

When her mother returned to the vehicle in the afternoon it was gone, she looked all over in the parking lot but the Jetta was no where to be seen.

“It’s a Jetta 2, 1990 model with registration number plates DWN 181. We still have not found the vehicle” said De Koker.

In a similar case on Thursday, April 6 Mr Thomas Cronje alleged that he parked the truck in the truck yard at 18:00.

Cronje recalls that everything was in order when he left the white Toyota Dyna truck and the gates were locked.

At about 04:30 the following morning he received a phone call that the gate had been forced open and the truck stolen.

Cronje then phoned the tracker company and he was informed by the company that the truck’s last known location was in Verena.

No clues have yet been found as to the identity of the suspects or the whereabouts of the truck.
