Watch these two as they take on the trap genre

Their accolades include being opening performers for extra-ordinary rappers like Cassper Nyovest, Ma-E, Nasty C and A-Reece

When they are performing on stage, it becomes a certified party. Their passion and hunger to be one of the best artists keeps them going. The duo consists of Themba Tjatji (Trae Trust) and Nkosinathi Nkosi (Nkosinathi Snazz) and together they form 3rd Vibe. They do not do normal rap music, but define their sound as futuristic crunk which people know as trap.

The two met at Hoërskool Patriot, and little did they know they would form such a killer combo.

They fell in love with music there together with the whole culture of Hip Hop. Their accolades include being opening performers for extra-ordinary rappers like Cassper Nyovest, Ma-E, Nasty C and A-Reece just to mention a few.

They have two singles so far namely Green and Faded. Extra and YahYah will soon be heard. The overall EP titled Extra Holiday will drop later this year so keep an eye out for that.

Their second single, Faded, which was released last year is on high rotation and has a top notch video quality on You-Tube, sitting at 474 views by the time of print. It was shot and directed by Studio Space Pictures.

“We have created a buzz for our singles and overall brand on social media, so we are taking it one step at a time with the assistance of our manager and a label boss Trevor Makama together with our producer Carnagee Beatz.”

Their thought provoking lines are inspired by the favourite artists, Emtee that is idolised by Trae Trust and Nkosinathi Snazz looks up to Travis Scott and AKA.

3rd Vibe member Nkosinathi “Nkosinathi Snazz” Nkosi.
For now the pair is concentrating on music, but they do aspire to go into fashion, video directing and producing.

“We want to venture into everything that is connected with the culture. But we will do it one step at a time.”

The mission is to blow up in Emalahleni before gracing the world’s stage.

Are you a young musician that wants to open for the country’s top rappers? Do you want the public to hear your music? 3rd Vibe advises the youth to stop focusing on material things and invest in quality music.

“They must put out dope music because that eventually will pay off, there are no short cuts and do not stop trying.” As award winning rapper Riky Rick said during his acceptance speech at the Metro FM Awards “Real music is on social media, it is on the internet.”

Above everything else they would not have been at this level in their career if it was not for God, they place Him first in all they do.
