Mr Kingdom Mabuza, municipal spokesperson said that the call centre at the municipality has been completed.

On Friday, March 3 he told WITBANK NEWS that the Information Technology department is busy with the installing of network points and that they should be finished by Tuesday, March 7.

“A total of 24 people will be employed but at the moment there are only eight people. Members of staff will be trained to deal with the volume of calls,” Mabuza added on Friday.

He also said that the municipality hopes that the call centre will be in full operation before the end of March.
In an earlier press release, they stated that ‘this call centre will provide a one stop comprehensive service which we believe will improve your experience of doing business with the municipality’.

“The call centre is on the ground floor at the municipality, as you enter you will find it on your right,” Mabuza concluded.
