Vosman police are investigating a case of a car hijacking.
It was reported that Mr Bongani George Mokoena (25) had his white VW Golf 7 hijacked in one of the streets in Ackerville on Saturday, February 11 at about 02:15. His Samsung cell phone was also taken at gun point and the value of both items has an estimated value of R394 500.
Mokoena reported to the police that he was parking his vehicle at the above mentioned street when three unknown suspects approached him and he offered them a lift.
One female said she wanted to give a bag to someone and suddenly an unknown suspect pointed him with a firearm, two other suspects joined them. The suspect ordered them out of the vehicle and fled the scene with his vehicle.
No one has been arrested and police are investigating a case of hijacking.
