Man that killed dog gets bail

The 34-year-old man caused a debacle when he was arrested for killing the animal allegedly stating that he wanted to use the skin to make a carpet.

The man that killed his dog and skinned it sometime in last week got bail at the Witbank Magistrate Court.


The dog that was skinned by its owner at Klarinet Extension three on Sunday, February 5.

The man had his first court appearance at B Court on Monday, February 6 after being arrested the previous afternoon at his home at Klarinet, Extension three.


Inside the bucket is the dog’s skin which was killed on February 5. The man from Klarinet Extension three who was arrested for killing the animal got bail and had his case postponed to April 4.

The 34-year-old man caused a debacle when he was arrested for killing the animal allegedly stating that he wanted to use the skin to make a carpet.

He got R500 bail and his case was postponed to April 4.
