Vosman Police are looking for witnesses after a murder was committed in Extension 12.
It was reported that 34-year-old Samson Mbuyane of KwaGuqa Extension 12 was assaulted on Saturday, November 5 last year in the early hours of the day. He was last seen with a certain lady and they were together with a group of friends at a tavern.
After the assault Mbuyane was admitted at Witbank Hospital in the ICU ward with head injuries and could not speak.
One of the ladies who were at the tavern on that day was arrested but later released after nothing connected her with the assault incident.
After spending a couple of days in the hospital Mr Mbuyane died while the suspect or suspects remain unknown.
Police are investigating a case of murder, they are calling upon any witnesses who might have witness the incident or has any information to contact them.
