Working hard is Witbank Police Station’s middle name; the team continues to make arrests ensuring the city stays crime free. This past week with the assistance of the Community Policing Forum (CPF) members, they managed to arrest 59 suspects.
The accused were busted for crimes such as business burglary, possession of ammunition, domestic violence, contravention of court order, defeating the ends of justice, possession of suspected stolen property and selling liquor without a licence.
Other arrests made include four for fraud, three for theft of motor vehicle, three for robbery, seven for possession and dealing in drugs, four for driving under the influence of alcohol and eight for shoplifting.
